What you need to know about our Joe Thornton Tribute Game.Getting your special event ticket.Special tickets are required for this game. They will be for sale in the box office at the Joe Thornton Community Centre on:
– Tuesday October 28 – 4:30pm-6pm
– Thursday October 30 – 4:30pm-6pm
– Tuesday November 4 – 4:30pm-6pm
– Thursday November 6 – 4:30pm-6pm
– Friday at the door, gates open 6pm
– Saturday at the doors, gates open 6pm
Tickets cost $12 each and are required for everyone over the age of 5 years old. Cash, debit, or credit will be accepted.
If you already have a white November 7th Joe Thornton Game Ticket, it will be valid for November 8th.
These special tickets are the only way to get into this game. Minor Hockey Passes, Flex Passes, Fundraiser Passes, Season Passes, Executive Passes or any other passes will not be accepted on November 8th. If you have a season pass or executive pass issued by the St. Thomas Stars, please email volunteers.stthomasstars@gmail.com by November 3 to redeem your Joe Thornton Tribute Game ticket.
Game Day Details
Gates will open at 6:00pm on November 8th.
Pre-game make sure you get:
- Your game program for $3 with a special dedication to Joe Thornton and a chance to win some amazing prizes or to participate in our centre ice shoutout contest at the first intermission.
- 50/50 tickets for your chance to take home an amazing cash jackpot! Tickets are 2 for $5 or 5 for $10, cash only.

- Raffle tickets for our Hat Trick Hockey Bundle raising money for your St. Thomas Stars players. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Included in this bundle is a signed retro jersey, Knights tickets, hockey supplies, and so much more. The draw will happen at the end of the second intermission on November 8th.
- The IceBox and Bar Car will be open to get a tasty treat or ice cold refreshment.
- Stars Hockey Trading Cards: Mystery pack 5 cards for $5, 30 base cards to collect, 1 secret special edition commemorative card hidden in circulation, & 5% chance to pull a signed player card!
Joe Thornton will be doing our ceremonial puck drop so make sure you are in your seats before 7:00pm.
