Volunteer Opportunity: Treasurer for Junior Hockey Board of Directors
Are you passionate about supporting youth sports and giving back to your community? Our Junior Hockey Association is seeking a dedicated Treasurer to join our Board of Directors.
Role Overview: As Treasurer, you will play a key role in managing the financial health of our organization. This is a volunteer position that requires attention to detail and a commitment to transparency.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the association’s finances and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and present financial reports at board meetings.
Manage budgets, payments, and deposits.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and local regulations.
Collaborate with other board members to support the success of our programs.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience with bookkeeping or financial management (preferred, but not required).
Comfortable working with spreadsheets or accounting software.
Passion for youth hockey and community involvement.
